Hyper V Toolkit

A small freeware utility that allows the creation of bootable Hyper-V 2008R2 USB disks.

No installation is needed.

The prerequisites are:

• Microsoft Dot Net 4.0


• Access to diskpart command (Windows vista and on)


• Access to bootsect command (Windows vista and on)


• Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) downloadable from Microsoft site.


• Hyper-V 2008 R2 installation media (mounted ISO image or CD)

The application follows the steps of the article "Deploying Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 on USB Flash Drive" published on Microsoft Technet.
