About the Role
Position targets software engineers of any seniority levels (Junior to Senior), with knowledge or experience in either Java/Spring or .NetCore/C#.
Joining CITE’s Software Development Department means that you will be challenged with multiple projects across different business domains and areas of expertise.
As a Software Engineer, you will dive deep in the development, implementation and management of ICT solutions that improve our clients’ services by offering high-performing, scalable software, utilising cutting-edge technologies. As a member of one of our highly collaborative teams you will be coding, testing and implementing configuration changes and assisting in the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.
About You
- You hold a highest education degree specialising on Informatics (Bachelor's or Master's).
- You have a very good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming model.
- You have a very good knowledge of SQL and got your hands dirty on a major RDBMS.
- You speak and write excellent English and Greek.
- You communicate clearly and productively, both orally and in writing.
- Collaborating in small or large groups comes easy for you.
- You can problem solve.
- You are not scared off by some silly bugs!
- You think of clean code, solid, kiss, git-flow, dry, DESIGN PATTERNS, and automated tests as something more than just fancy words.
- You have fulfilled your military obligations (for Greek male candidates).
What you absolutely need to have to join us
** Having a highest education degree is a prerequisite for the position applicants. **
For Junior Developer
- At least one (1) project on the technologies claimed (thesis, lab, personal, work).
- Highest education degree specialising on Informatics (Bachelor's or Master's).
For an Experienced Developer / Team Leader
- At least three (3) years of related professional experience.
- Highest education degree specialising on Informatics (Bachelor's or Master's).
For a Senior Developer / Team Leader
- At least seven (7) years of related professional experience.
- Highest education degree specialising on Informatics (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Experience in test design and management (stress, performance, security, verification).
- Experience in software quality assurance procedures and frameworks.
- Team leadership abilities are required.
Depending on the level of your experience, it will be a plus if you have:
- Knowledge /experience in Angular, React, HTML5, JS.
- Knowledge and ability to apply design patterns is appreciated.
- Certifications in technologies of relevance.
- Familiarity with additional technologies and software design and implementation practices.
- For Experienced developers the ability to lead teams is highly welcome.
- For Senior developers, the ability to lead a Software Unit is welcome.
