Message Routing: CITE.DocuBridge

back to CITE.BPMS

The Message Routing System adds automatic, semi-automatic or manual message input capabilities to CITE.Cases. It starts from the reception of a message, which can be manually inserted into the system or automatically extracted from external sources. CITE.DocuBridge is supported by CITE.DocuProc which is responsible for exporting and attaching metadata to any message or document delivered to it.

These metadata are used by CITE.DocuBridge to direct a message / document to some internal control queue, address/department or reception, or even reject it, after (optionally) registering it to CITE.Registry through the relevant CITE.Cases services. CITE.DocuBridge accepts Plugins that allow automatic extraction of messages / documents from external systems, such as eMail (IMAP / POP3), REST API, FTP, HTTP or even just from a point of the file system, which comply with the system, requirements while add-ons can be built for any other external service through an open API. In addition to importing messages, CITE.DocuBridge can also be responsible for sending automatic messages to external systems. This task corresponding to the import can be performed via Plugins which handle specific interfaces and protocols. For example, it can be done via email, by sending to a specific REST API, storing as a document in some archive system etc. while custom plugins can meet all future requirements. This way CITE.BPMS can be fully integrated into a CRM system and evolve with it.

CITE.DocuBridge and its components are optional elements of an installation.
