Multi-modal updates: CITE.Notifications
Each application of the package generates messages that inform operators, or application managers, of changes or situations that need updating or attention.
The CITE.Notifications updates subsystem undertakes to deliver these updates to stakeholders through a multitude of alternative channels (email, SMS, personal message, push notifications, in-app updates etc.) which can be configured by the system administrator on one hand and the alert user on the other so that these updates have the least possible discomfort and produce the maximum effect possible. These updates, in addition to the basic user information, can be active on a case-by-case basis, allowing the recipient to interact directly with the system through the update and to manipulate or display the cause of her creation. The update system is infinitely scalable via plugins to cover any future update bus.
The ability to send messages to popular communication platforms and SMS Gateways as well as active updates are optional features of the system.
