Compatibility with resilient Cloud Computing infrastructures

back to CITE.BPMS

CITE.BPMS can be provided either as On Premises software or as Software As A Service (SaaS). In the first case, running on a Cloud infrastructure is the way its services are delivered. In the latter case, the opportunities are there to be exploited and tailored by the Organization based on its needs and resources. CITE.BPMS is fully compatible with infrastructure orchestrators and supports its scaling and decomposition into a flexible infrastructure.

The number of nodes does not have to be known from the beginning of its installation as it can be adapted at will while there is also the ability of automatically integrating new nodes into a high availability infrastructure without human intervention. With the support of the infrastructure, it can also allow dynamic node decomposition. Its distribution allows for the coverage of many different infrastructures as it can be optionally done both through Docker containers and as an application deployment package. CITE.BPMS is a cross-platform that can take advantage of a variety of physical or virtual infrastructures for its operation. At the same time, it is independent of the technologies of the Cloud infrastructure that can be integrated and can selectively exploit its features. This way it can work in environments starting from a minimal private physical or virtual infrastructure of an Organization, which may not have scalability technologies and inherent data services, to all of the widespread Cloud infrastructures taking advantage of high availability and automatic redeployment of resources mechanisms as well as data services which they may have (e.g. File System as a service, or Database as a service).
