Open model, scalability and adaptability

back to CITE.BPMS

CITE.BPMS adopts an open data model that allows it to adapt to the needs of almost every area of competence it is called upon to meet. A few of the metadata it handles are of systemic nature and predefined while the various data entities allow it to be highly configurable (e.g. fields and relationships).

In addition to its open operating model, the modules that constitute it have the flexibility to include or not other modules or to cover functionality components from external systems and services. Each CITE.BPMS module adopts two policies: (a) the ability to configure its behavior based on options made during the installation and where appropriate and during system operation and (b) changing or expanding its behavior through either plugins or interoperability contacts defined by widely open standards (where applicable) or CITE.BPMS specifications based on open technologies and standards. Based on the above features, CITE.BPMS can be expanded functionally and adapted to highly demanding and heterogeneous Organizations environments.
