Workflows: CITE.DocuFlows
Handling a case includes a set of tasks performed by an organization's executives. CITE.Cases monitors these tasks through the Workflow Management Subsystem (CITE.DocuFlows), a flexible module that can apply standard workflows to actions performed by an operator on a task.
Can monitor tasks performed by one or more operators in series or in parallel, assignments to other executives as well as send reminders and alerts depending on the progress of a task, modify the status of documents or cases upon completion of a task, and records in detail every action taken in its context. Optional automatic assignment based on activation criteria and rules (circular, next available etc.) is supported. To support the process, the system uses both the current assignments and the availability of operators (absences) as well as the importance of an assignment. Any assignment logic can be added using plugins. CITE.DocuFlows CITE.DocuFlows can compose workflows that are a mixture of tasks performed by operators or automated processes, which through plugins can trigger a series of actions on third-party systems or CITE.BPMS’s. Indicative but not limiting, these actions can be external service calls, sending messages, creating custom documents etc.
